Subscribe to Canterris' RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds to get news, product update announcements and upcoming events delivered directly to your desktop!
RSS is simply a way of keeping track of new content from some of your favorite sites (like Canterris.com). Using special reader plug-ins (you'll have to download one) you can view an aggregation of headlines and blurbs from dozens of different Web sites. If you're not inclined to download and install a reader, Yahoo!, Google, FireFox, and Internet Explorer 7 all include ways to pull our news to your desktop.
How do I get started?
The first step is to obtain your RSS reader. There are many RSS readers, and you may wish to learn more about the options. There is a list of readers at Google and CNET.
I have my RSS reader. Now what?
After obtaining your RSS reader you can then subscribe to RSS feeds. First, select RSS feeds from the content providers that interest you. Or you may identify feeds on websites, often marked by a small orange RSS button.
When you have opened the RSS feed in your browser and see the XML data, then highlight the URL of that feed and copy it to your clipboard. Then, return to your RSS reader and follow the instructions for your particular reader for adding a new feed. The URL you copied to your clipboard will be the location your RSS reader will require to subscribe to that feed.
