Phil KlassenPhil has been a leader in the emerging technology and marketing industries for close to a decade. Prior to Canterris, Phil was a co-founder and partner of Twist Marketing, a strategic traditional and online marketing firm serving corporate and government clients throughout North America. In this role, Phil led the online marketing side of the business guiding customers through innovative online marketing strategies and best practices. While with Twist Marketing, the company received numerous awards including the 7th fastest growing company in Alberta, the 38th fastest growing company in Canada, as well as runner up for the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction. Phil has also been recognized as a "Leader of Tomorrow" by Business in Calgary Magazine as one of the top business professionals in Calgary.Roger JewettRoger has over 20 years experience guiding companies ranging from early stage start-ups to multi-million dollar private and publicly traded businesses. Prior to Canterris, Roger was the President of Rare Method, a publicly traded interactive marketing firm which grew revenue from $1 million to $10 million over a five-year span. In 2005, 2006 and 2007 respectively, Rare Method was ranked the 23rd, 5th and 2nd fastest growing company in Alberta by Alberta Venture Magazine. In 2008 Rare Method was ranked the 93rd fastest growing company in Canada by Profit Magazine. In 2007, Roger was named one of '10 Innovators to Watch' by Calgary Inc. Magazine and in 2009 Roger was named one of 20 'Leaders of Tomorrow' by Business in Calgary Magazine. Prior to Rare Method, Roger was CFO for Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, one of Canada’s largest ski resort operators. Roger has also consulted to several start-up technology companies over the past two years.Ken SchmaltzKen Schmaltz is an award-winning technology marketing professional with over 17 years of experience with leading Silicon Valley technology companies to successfully market their products. Ken’s experience includes contributing to Verity, a market-leading Silicon Valley software company, as Director of Marketing Communications. As Director, Ken was responsible for developing and implementing brand, channel, and lead generation strategies as well as advising a variety of internal clients on communications issues, including Human Resources, Professional Services and Investor Relations.Stuart ParnellStuart Parnell is President of Hammer Capital Corporation, a consultancy providing strategic financial advice to emerging companies. Prior to this, Stuart was Vice President, Business Development for Horseman Energy Services Ltd., a rapidly growing energy services company. Prior to joining Horseman, Stuart was the Managing Director for Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance in Calgary, where he was responsible for directing Merger and Acquisition, Divestiture and fund raising activity for a variety of mid-market private clients. A Chartered Financial Analyst since 1998, Stuart has more than a dozen years of experience in financial services and has advised dozens of businesses on corporate and financial strategy. He is a member of the CFA Institute and is past President of the Calgary CFA Society, a volunteer organization representing more than 800 fellow CFA charter holders in Calgary. |
