User Interface Developer

If so, we'd like to talk to you. We're looking for User Interface Developers to join our Research & Development teams in Calgary and the Waterloo Region to design and develop leading online marketing applications.

Canterris’ software, which it hosts and delivers to its customers as an on-demand subscription service, enables customers to deploy highly effective and measurable online marketing programs that create demand for their products and services, accelerate the customer sales cycle, and improve business performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:
  • Building intuitive and feature rich web application user interfaces using CSS/HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XHTML, etc.
  • Working closely with senior architects to ensure user interface requirements support application functionality
  • Working closely with the QA team to validate and improve machine and human usability
  • Ensure that technical designs and code are well documented according to internal guidelines
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to build intuitive user experiences

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with:
  • At least 3 years of user interface development experience with JavaScript, JSON, XHTML, XML, Ajax, and jQuery or ExtJS
  • At least 3 years experience in the design, development and support of web applications
  • In depth knowledge of web standards and cross browser issues
  • Experience working in both Windows and Unix environments is a definite asset
